@hotdogsladies I'm finally catching up on DBF, I'd heard you talk to siracusa a little about your hospital visit last year, but just want to say, you had to advocate for yourself in a way that should NOT be required, and I'm very glad you got the care you needed but it sounds like it was really hard ❤️
@hotdogsladies I have a relative who is a new doctor (in second year residency, Canada though..) who I immediately messaged upon hearing the whole story of your AMA discharge, basically with "um, this isn't a thing, right?" I'm grateful to have had no experience with leaving AMA, but I do have TONS of experience discussing the details of 'what exactly are you going to do here that I can't do at home' in the veterinary space, and this is what came to mind as you explained your experience.
