I have a laptop eith sata and a nvme drive. I installed a few operating systems and I decided on Mint for Sata. Installed it copied data from Nvme drive since I was using it as primary. I installed Nobara on nvme and it worked flawless until a few moments ago. Reboted and Mint is gone from boot options. Tried to add it but...
I would start fresh but I got data on my sata. Also sometimes it boots in grub. I think it’s from Debian. Can I use that or do I need to be in a system?
No. Banking won’t work and you can’t lock bootloader. As far as I know there’s no Recovery password so someone could just adb and pull data. If you want to use banking apps you could use magisk to pass safety net but that will make your phone less secure. Personally I have no banking app so I don’t give a shit
Is that so. I don’t known the full story but I did heard something about librem being a scam. Either way both of them seem shady so I’ll look more into it
I mean’t getting executed. Although I see your point. Either way I don’t plan on going back to stock. Los grew on me. Sucks but you could get them working with a sandbox. I used Gbox for a while but decided to stop for privacy reasons.
Try Gbox or Google Space. Didn’t try banking apps but stopped receiving custom ROM on WhatsApp Signal and some other apps. Highly recommend using shelter from f-droid
Try Grayjay still in development and sometimes it crashes but it has no shorts. Better said it has them but they get treated like a video. No full screen no dedicated button and no scrolling. Downside (or not) it has no recommendations even if you subscribe, can’t comment in youtube but you got a platform comments
What distro would you suggest? I abandoned windows 10 for Ubuntu but it didn’t grew on me. I know Linux Mint is friendlier but I thought giving Ubuntu a try
I played around with Kali(I know I know) and raspberry pi for a bit and I got the hang of it a bit. Think I’ll go with Mint on one drive for school and such and on the other drive Arch for gaming. Thank you for your time.
I know that you apps are available across distributions but I wanted to use a stable distro for school that I trust not to brake and another one where I can experience and customize without worrying to much about breaking it.
