My dad has talked about potentially getting into comics, particularly the hulk as he grew up on the Lou Ferigno TV show. I’m not well versed in hulk lore, is there a run that matches the vibe of the TV show? Preferably something collected into a trade.
The only way iron man could win is if it’s funnier for bugs to be beaten. But I can’t personally think of a scenario where a billionaire with enough weaponry to destroy a city beating up a bunny is funnier than the reverse.
I finished reading about Iron Man, but the book said something about comics from two other former companies that ultimately became the one we know well today, including the old and classic Captain America comics back then....
Unfortunately a lot of that stuff is hit and miss. For Captain America Comics specifically, Marvel has released reprinted and digital copies of issues 1-20 then 76-78. To read 21-75 you have to either get a hold of physical copies (very expensive) or pirate them (where many of the scans are poor quality).
For the ones available digitally, Marvel Unlimited is probably the best option. For not-technically-legal scans I personally used readcomiconline.li but I know other people don’t like their UI (and I think the ads can be pretty bad but I use an ad blocker that seems to cut it all out)
I don’t understand the concern. If you want to read a comic, do it. The existence of the MCU doesn’t inhibit that. Maybe I’m missing your point though.
Honestly this is why I prefer the “alternate universe” theory. I know the writers claim he stayed in the main timeline, but I don’t buy it exactly for the reasons you mentioned. Alternate universe lets him fix problems rather than just letting all that stuff happen.
Hey everyone! Just trying to figure out if what I’m thinking is a good idea or the worst idea ever. My group is only two sessions in. They started at level 5. I have them going into a supposed-to-die battle wherein they wake in hell and have to figure out how to get out (yadda yadda this is where the real story starts). I was...
I would personally HATE this. Moreso the levels than the gear. Maybe a single session or dungeon that I know is going to be short, but if I had to regain those levels I’d contemplate leaving the campaign.
In 15 years of the MCU existing, I know that I have seen and read hundreds of different fan theories. There were some very popular ones, like Heimdall/the bofrost being tied to the Soul Stone, and some eccentric ones that only one guy insisted on but no one else believed....
The idea that the locations of the Infinity Stones spelled out Thanos. Tesseract (space stone) Heimdall (was the leading theory for the soul stone like mentioned above) Aether (reality stone) Necklace (time stone) Orb (power stone) Scepter (mind stone
It was close to plausible, though stuff like necklace and orb were stretching it. But even after infinity war I saw people trying to make it still work.
Agreed, it’s even comparative to our world. My local grocery store doesn’t have metal detectors, but the county court offices do, and then the white house has stuff way beyond even that. You can bet your bottom dollar that if wild shape was a thing that certain buildings would be built to uncover that kind of thing.
The whole movie was fantastic but honestly I want a whole movie in the style of Gwen’s universe. Those first 10ish minutes were just beautiful and I was a little disappointed to go back to Miles’s perspective.

What are some non-Marvel characters Iron Man could defeat?
Where can I read the works of Timely Comics and Atlas Comics before they became Marvel Comics?

I’m considering buying the 1994 Iron Man cartoon DVD and switching from Batman to Iron Man without thinking about the MCU instead....

It only started raining when I arrived at the tower and it's been going on for what seems like forever. Pretty sure the game does this on purpose...
