Fedora Linux IT support for obscure things that break and other Linux and Windows subs because I kinda like to see what boneheaded mistake Microsoft will make next
It seems like the FOSS community is continuing to grow, and FOSS apps keep getting better (Immich reallh blew my mind recently), which is a big win 😎 but there are still many apps I use that I would kill for an open source alternative. I am curious what you guys think? Are there any apps you’d love alternatives for?
Or all the documentation/answers conflict with each other so now you have to play Russian Roulette with your project/system. Yes I am still salty about the hyprland nvidia page that kept me up between 2-6am EDT and confused for 13hrs. I trust the Arch and EndeavourOS wikis more for general OS stuff now tbh. For programming I like the specific documentation by the devs of their respective programming languages. If I need help: Google, Discord, Reddit, Forums or StackOverflow
Um this is not going to hold up in the Ontario Consumer Protection Tribunal due to this: Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (“Consumer Protection Act”) prohibits mandatory arbitration clauses and class action waivers in consumer agreements.
Same except that was my server (Fedora 40 Beta). I nuked it and installed Ubuntu Server on it and reinstalled everything. Works but man bad timing as I’m moving out in a month
Fast-food chain Chick-fil-A has sparked a social media backlash after announcing that it will soon allow certain antibiotics in the chickens it raises, citing supply issues....
I tried their food as they recently opened up in my city in Canada. Their chicken sandwich and waffle fries are a complete joke compared to local chains here and McDonald’s/KFC of all places. Dry af chicken, sad spice and soggy waffle fries. At a local chain I get a good Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, beautiful steak cut fries and a good drink. They just expanded to a second location here. Chick-fil-A do better
I still remember that video I watched where a line in the Steam code back in the day was titled SCARY!!! and it was rm -rf $STEAMROOT. This nuked a guy’s computer because short answer $STEAMROOT was actually / root, long answer here’s the video. This nuked both his PC and his external drive that is some pretty bad code but this JavaScript code is up there
Based. I love his music btw from FF4 to FF9 he’s one of my favs with Lotus Juice and Yoko Shimomura and I agree with him 100%. Movie music is boring as shit and his music is way way better
All I see is more Linux Servers and PCs to try Arch and Gentoo on over my Fedora desktop that I use because I need a good balance of stability and up to date software
Fun fact whenever I go back to my parents place I still see their old Windows 7 desktop alive and well for over 10 years and they don’t care it just works
