This entire thread is about really cozily living guys who literally never have to think about their gender, who never have to feel threatened because of their gender, who can easily survive and joke back among the male ribbing, now suddenly realizing problems like “I feel like I am not easily finding friends because other men are kinda assholey” or “my pals are mean to me sometimes when I have emotions”. And now this is the super important topic at hand, all while women suffer under men’s own problems every single day to the point of being raped, assaulted, killing themselves, not being able to enjoy a single thing outside their own spaces because the entire world is constructed as a huge dick measuring contest?

I tend to use the phrase “I hate people” not because I’m avoiding the whole thing of saying I hate men or I hate women but people generally suck. All of the reasons you have listed above apply to people as a whole.
Technically if interpreted as written, it would be, yeah. But we have this great thing called nuance, which tells us that if someone suffers their entire life from trauma, then policing their language about their trauma is not something that we do. If a Polish kid during World War 2 decided to hate Germans, technically it’d be a bigoted statement, but who would fault them? Who would make it a point to attack this kid for being xenophobic given his history? Who would seriously die on that hill?

It is only if you read it literally, which anyone with a brain does not, because we live under patriarchy, and any such statement directed at men from a clearly traumatized minority obviously means those espousing the toxic traits of masculinity that society marks as essential for manhood. “Men” clearly means “typical men”.

The difference is that we live under patriarchy. Someone saying “women are trash” is not venting about their trauma about women, they are kicking down from a position of privilege unto a minority. People saying “men are trash”, unless they’re really bonkers, obviously mean the constructed, toxic definition of “men” as applied in “real men” or “manliness”.
Even the bad ones might not be so bad if they felt less devalued and disposable.
Which is not women’s fault, but again, men’s. It’s an internal issue between each other. They literally beat each other up, scream, yell, compete, make everything into a violent contest. Attack men if you want to combat that behavior, because it’s only men who perpetuate it.

I am just simply sick and tired of the vast majority of guys consistently making life hell for everyone else on the planet every single day, including even each other, and then suddenly we are supposed to care for their feefees. No, I do agree with the original image’s message. I just do not agree with the framing of “can women please stop being mean to the poor men please”, blaming women for the internal self-inflicted self-hatred within men. They do need support networks, and their depression should be taken seriously. The entire idea of “if you cry you’re not a real man” is a blight upon the world. More positive masculinity should be shown. But this is not an issue of traumatized women ranting about men, it’s an issue of “alpha bro” men attacking other men.
No one going through hard times is helped. Everyone is told to deal with it. They do deserve help and a support system. It’s just not women’s fault for being “too mean to men” while venting about sexism. It’s toxic masculinity’s fault for making men attack other, more vulnerable men in the name of manliness (e. g. “therapy is gay, men dont cry, stop being a pussy”). It’s an internal men’s issue.
They are not distinct issues. Both of these issues are directly caused by toxic masculinity espousing men in the exact same way. There is no “anti-man sexism”. There is literally only “alpha bro” kinds of men beating down on everyone they see as inferior: women, and other men.

Men really want to make every single social issue about themselves even though they are not impacted by their gender negatively in a single way other than from other men, who they conspicuously don’t blame.

Look up the difference between equality and equity in a dictionary. I pointed out that kicking down on a mostly oppressed minority is bad, and that kicking upwards at an established class of mostly oppressors is excusable due to context.
People like you always want to rip things from the context because pretending that women and men are entirely “equal game” obscures their power in the discourse, makes it easier to silence them.
Of course it doesn’t, because it’s easy to be “colorblind” if you are on the top of the ladder anyway and literally don’t need to think about gender at all, because it simply never impacts you in any meaningful way.

It depends on the definition of discrimination. Discrimination can be a power thing, in which case it cannot be, since women do not hold a social position of power that is able to oppress men in any society. If you define it as a thing of “being mean to one another individually”, sure; but who talks about that right now?
