No WIP Wednesday for me this week because I have a finish for now! I love how this turned out! I plan on stitching several more cities from this shop and then ideally frame them all the same. So, on to the next project until its time to FFO this....
I’ll definitely share pictures! All the other cities I want to do have different color pallets so something neutral. I was thinking just a simple black frame with white mat. I also don’t want the frame to distract too much.
Thank you but I didn’t add to the pattern. It comes in 3 sizes no background, square with background, and then this size with more background. I wish I could take credit for adding all of that!
It’s still half in the qsnap here so it wouldn’t lay flat. If all goes to plan I think it will be finished in a couple of weeks. 2 over 1 on 18 count....
Hi All! Sorry I missed the last couple of weeks. Life got in the way a bit. This is really only like a week and a half of progress. I had a week of basically no stitching time. I am so close to the halfway point! 2 over 1 on 18 count....
It’s somehow been three months since @IoSapsai and I agreed to take over moderation of this community, and we’ve not really had to do anything other than keep an eye out for reports. It’s not exactly been a taxing job, so firstly thank you stitchers for being so undramatic!...
Beautiful! Are you going to finish it as a pillow? Looking forward to seeing it finished! I haven’t done any specialty stitches. They scare me a bit. I have one almost FO that just needs the whiskers backstitched in and I’ve been putting it off for months. I should just do it. No time like now to learn.
Edit: Loving the grime guard so far. My hand get sweaty and it helps prevent that. I don’t feel like I need to wash my hands several times in a long stitch session.
That’s fair! It’s going to take more that one post to change the tide. I’ll see if I can come up with something better for next week!
I am also a fan of large blocks of color as evident from my posts. Knowing that not every stitch needs to be perfect like on a sampler or something like that helps a lot. I’m still a very new stitcher and still learning how to keep things neat what better way to practice then with some large blocks!
Finished this one up last week, it’s actually designed by myself as I’ve been trying to learn a bit more about pixel art and specifically working in isometric. It definitely could’ve done with being darker under the bench but whatever! Proud of it anyway....
I stayed up late just to finish this! I didn’t have much to go but it was confetti so it took a bit longer than expected. I love how it turned out. Can’t wait to wash and finish it 👽...
