No WIP Wednesday for me this week because I have a finish for now! I love how this turned out! I plan on stitching several more cities from this shop and then ideally frame them all the same. So, on to the next project until its time to FFO this....
I hate this cheap black floss I got from Walmart when I first started. I got a bulk amount so I’m trying to just work through it but it catches on everything and feels terrible. This pattern calls for two threads for some of the backstitching but I ended up using one and running it twice because of how terrible the thread is.
After a little over a year of stitching now I still feel like a bit of a noob, but I’m pretty comfortable with the basics. These parts of patterns still give me some problems though!...
It’s still half in the qsnap here so it wouldn’t lay flat. If all goes to plan I think it will be finished in a couple of weeks. 2 over 1 on 18 count....
I got behind due to a lot of stuff going on in my life, but I managed to make some progress still! Sadly because I’ve been working on it here and there I had some mistakes that resulted in me having to frog a bunch of stitches to get back on track, but it’s looking good now!

Not as impressive as @DrPop but I am very happy to have completed my first full coverage piece.
Before anyone ask I’m not planning on doing the dark world anytime soon. This project was one of the first I started and after many breaks and other projects I finally laid the final stitch. Now to clean and dry then frame it.
I hope to finish this one by tomorrow night!

I’m still alive, still stitching. I took a break, or more like World of Warcraft dragged me away. I lost my character after 50 hours of playtime and I uninstalled windows. My mental health dramatically improved when screen time went down. Especially because I started stitching again....
First time doing an odd shaped fabric thingy, so the edges aren’t too great. Plus, didn’t figure out a better method of punching around the outlines til close to the end…Meh, still makes us all giggle like school children, heh....
