Some time ago I saw an article about blockchain metadata, where each transformation to the file gets saved in an append only database.
As silly as most blockchain projects are, this is one place where it could make sense. You open the image metadata and you see an complete log of signed blocks, from camera to resize in browser.
Anyway most people are not technically savvy enough for it to do any good.
