Melatonin, (edited )

It’s a recurrent theme in the history of the world you know, thousands, hundreds of thousands, tens of millions of species killed, never to be seen again.

No species ever lasts that long.

Melatonin,

Police should NOT be involved in the mental health process.

Currently they are legally required.

Melatonin,

Thank you. Unfortunately, I have a lot of real blame to take over my prior behavior. I used a lot of aggression to get out of my cage. But much better now, surrounded by love, but there are those who will never forgive my past.

It’s hard to forgive yourself when there are some who confront you every time you see them, although you’ve told the truth and apologized, demanding a new and better repentance.

I feel very exposed writing that. Sorry to overshare.

Shove down that turban, steal that bike.

Melatonin,

Um, because I didn’t see them?

Melatonin,

Except I haven’t thought of either of those bands until the shower this morning.

The second one

Don’t you know not to engage? 😎 Round two, fight!

Anyway, I would be content to ignore it, but it has long been user reviewed as the best film of all time, and I think that opens it up for discussion and critical thought, and removes the “argument” or debate from the realm of silly.

Better than The Godfather? Better than Rocky? Better than Casablanca? Better than hundreds of entertaining and well-made movies? Star Wars, or Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom?

And considering prison movies. Cool Hand Luke? Felon? Papillon? Escape from Alcatraz? Just some off the top of my head.

I do get annoyed seeing this outclassed flick taking a place with really good movies. I’ve tried to give it a chance, I’ve watched it twice and I still don’t get what people are seeing. It must be mostly men; I can’t imagine a LARGE NUMBER of women find this movie compelling.

I love movies and entertainment. But this one feels like a TV movie from the 80s.

So many ways to be wrong.

BTW, what do you think Lemmy’s demographic is? Mostly women you’d say? Even, say, near 50%-50% male/female (self identified)? I mean, YOU’RE here. So obviously it isn’t a desert. Not that I said Shawshank was. But I guess you think that if you are included it can’t be a mostly male experience.

Decide what you like, here is an actual source of fact if you care, which I’m sure you don’t.

Godzilla (2014) was pretty good, except for Muto having that electromagnetic pulse weapon. Why would a biological evolutionarily develop such a thing? It's useless against Godzilla.

Only useful against technology really, and that seems so unrealistic. That’s where it lost me, the convenience of a creature that can EM machines. So unbelievable....

Melatonin,

Muto’s EM pulse had no effect on biologics. Humans and Godzilla were unaffected. It was not related to an eel’s stun, obviously.

Melatonin,

I liked space babies okay, but the devil’s chord was bad enough that my wife walked out in the middle of it and said I could watch it alone. I finished it up but it wasn’t good.

I haven’t seen any more yet, and I came on here hoping to see that they got better. I will watch anyway.

Not Fantastic.
