In a similar sense, for me Monday’s are the least stressful, as I run some queries and make sure some Dashboards are running correctly, send a few emails out with some updated figures, and generally plan for the week ahead. Usually having no meetings on Mondays helps with that also :)
Sheesh that last bit really makes you realise how much power they have now.
I really enjoyed reading Mindf*ck by Christopher Wylie around the Cambridge Analytica scandal, and the part where he talks about how they used to call up random strangers with their whole life in a dossier for fun, and ask them questions knowing what the answers would be was quite eye opening.
He said Facebook basically knows you the best, even moreso than your friends, family and partners because with each of them you have your secrets, but Facebook looks through all that.
Getting closer to the move, reading some stuff around masonry walls online, and hearing some of the feedback on here, I’m leaning towards bjist moving in, and then seeing what we’re dealing with and going from there.
I think the Kings are really exciting, but historically I haven’t really watched the Kings play (which has gotten worse as Ive had less time to watch basketball the last few years). The only real time I watched them this year was during the playoffs where I thought Sabonis was quite submissive? Lacked confidence almost? And didn’t really look to assert himself.
The successful challenge but loss of challenge thing never made sense to me. So glad it’s being changed. But is it another challenge they get when the first one is successful? Or do they retain the challenge everytime they are successful?
I only recently got into English breakfast, and I must say there are times when I crave it. Having it milk almost makes it feel like a meal. Quite a heavy (don’t know what to call it) drink.
