Is this being worked on/looked at? I ask since the post mentioned discussion was happening with the .id admins but I haven’t seen any answers about whether that’s a priority (it seems Lemdro.id is the one that needs to federate with k.bin)....
It seems that using kbin to engage with mastodon and lemmy works a lot better than using mastodon to engage with kbin and lemmy. Can't speak for using Lemmy for kbin and mastodon.
Edit: on kbin to see microblog type posts from users I have subscribed to I need to go to subscribed (found in the dropdown menu between + and username) and then click the Microblog tab. (If I am already on the microblog tab and select subscribed it will take me over to threads, I need to click back over to microblog. I hope this changes.)
I think that at the moment many communities are too fragmented. A lot of them seem to be a single person. There is a sweet spot regarding size, and that number is different from community to community. I wish people would avoid making duplicates if they didn't have at least one other person ready to join them though.

I love reading on my eInk reader. I think if a had phone where the book I was reading was always on the outer screen, I would read even more. But, is this too niche of a form factor?
I don't think I am going to want a folding phone for a very long time. An e-ink display on the back of a phone for reading, or displaying static content, would be cool though. It would be nice to have recipes on an always on display, same with shopping lists, and some other reference materials.
Hi, I hope it's ok to ask a question here. I am trying to link / subscribe to a lemmy community specifically !wetshaving. When I enter that in the search window no results show up. Am I doing this wrong?
Smells like licorice when leaves crushed. (lemmy.ca)
[META] The merger from lemmy.world has locked out k.bin members. [FIXED]

Is it a good thing if there are identical communities on different instances?
Is it worthwhile to try to get mods to combine them? It just seems like a bit of a waste when trying to grow a community and its split in two....
Do you think a Fold style phone with an eInk display on the outside would work well?

BIFL compression garments (readit.buzz)
Any suggestions for compression socks and other compression garments of similar quality to darn tough socks?...
How do I link to a lemmy community? (readit.buzz)
