I’ve just put fresh sheets on the bed (with Mr Woof’s “help”) and am looking forward to bedtime. I’ve got my favourite jungle print doona cover on and also have my leopard print flannelette pjs out ready.

I’m already negative, the ticket was just over $15. Even more negative if you add in the powerball ticket. So I’m not so much winning as lossing less badly at this point.

It depends - if I give up use of my left arm entirely to provide an appropriately supportive pillow they are tucked away. If I claim the use of my arm she needs to use one leg as a support brace and things get very pointy when that happens.

I was trying to concentrate on whether the layout etc. would work if updated, and my brain just kept short circuiting with brick overload.

I think with a few fairly minor changes it would work quite well, but definitely in need of updating.

Very solid - but I would have concerns about that much brick holding the heat/cold. Depending on how the rest of the design works it could be a major issue or a major benefit having that much thermal mass.

I’m glad they usually include plans with measurements these days, it makes it much easier to figure out how much space there really is. I spent some time with a tape measure around my place figuring out some comparisons and minimum room sizes I am looking for which should hopefully cut down on some wasted time inspecting places.

I have managed to find myself one of the few jobs that allow you to deal with people and not be polite - in fact sometimes being abrupt and rude can be an advantage! Being able to cut people off and focus single mindedly on getting the information you need is an asset in emergency situations.

I have long hair which is definitely a useful fidget toy, I don’t think I’d know what to do with my hands if I cut it short now. At the moment I can hold on to the end of my ponytail behind my back. pull it forward to tuck under my chin, or tie it into literal knots. Being able to run my hands over my head and go mmm, velvet… just doesn’t seem as versatile. Probably looks less silly though.

Oh, that is not fun. I was on it the other day and experienced the once car per green light entry system for the first time, then got to sit in very slow traffic banked up from the Greensborough Hwy exit.

I usually figure the chance of someone randomly giving me a winning ticket are not that different to the chance of winning by buying one, so I choose to save my money instead. But occassionally I feel I should buy a ticket, just in case all the laws of physics and mathematics are just for show and we are living in some Matrix like simulation or in a fake world created by some sort of deity, who has decided due to my absolute wonderfulness that I should be rewarded with riches the next time I buy a ticket. Every time I discover nope, the statistics were right.
