Thinking of leaving reddit

With all that's going on in the reddit world, I'm thinking of leaving it behind, this may be a better place

Me too. I'm excited to see Lemmy grow. I feel like Reddit has been drifting away from it's original status as the "front page of the internet" since it started to fall into the mainstream social media trap.

Much like @RoaringSilence, I setup a Mastodon and Lemmy account this week. I am really interested in the idea of federated social media because I am quite tired of watching platforms follow the same pattern and the decentralized model seems to make a lot of sense.

We'll see what Lemmy brings in the future! Welcome to my fellow Reddit refugees.
