I've been contemplating this for almost half a year now. I recently moved back to Android from Apple and first I thought I'll just get another wireless set of earbuds. The more I thought about it though my mind has gone more towards maybe doing a portable DAC + a pair of really nice sounding wired buds....
My first 'real' headphones were MDR6s/V600s from Sony, maybe 20 years ago. I was DJing so went for closed back, and to me open headphones just seemed dumb. 90% of the time I was listening to music in public, going places, so I always went for maximum isolation....
The more I use open back headphones, the more I realize just how limited I am with them. I've had a pair of AKG K240s for a decade or so, and the sound bleeds so much, there's just nowhere to listen to them that won't disturb others.
I have 49 gb of music and at the moment i just sync it between my devices with syncthing. But i think it will be better if i stream it, as the storage on my phone is limited....
I mainly stream games from my desktop via Steam. Is there a good software to manage my non-steam games so I can play them remotely via Steam (to automate the process of adding the games/launchers to Steam)?
I don't know if I'd call it a fumble so much as a death march. They know what they're doing is wildly unpopular, they know they'll hemorrhage users, and they never change course. Full steam ahead with the Titanic.
