Dude wtf, there are relatively many fucking servers which have well over thousands of inactive users. I checked some and it seems the mods of them are just posting under 5 posts on some other servers and than creating some communities in their own server and then leave quietly. Thats too sus… It may be too much paranoiac to think that there is more going about those servers but I just cant stop thinking it is too absurd
This is a possibility, but I think a lurker wouldn’t sign up to those servers, they are literally randomly named empty servers. They would prefer more known servers, or they may just look up which server to choose and eventually end up on registering to known server.
Does this mean anything, I mean they can just prevent us accessing to site. And even though this is something we dont wish many websites are going to implement web integrity; which lead us to being forced to use a browser compatible with web integrity if we want to use web.
I know there are always alternatives to services that are probably going to implement web integrity(mainly referring big techs’ services) but we all sometimes use their services in some cases.
As @mosiacmango suggested many websites use adsense, it is easy for you to say just dont use them but some of them cant be replaced and dont forget you wont be able to use an alternative frontend. Even if you are not using I believe many of us are using at least some of those services that will implement web integrity or uses google ads
I am sick of these meme. Of course we know c is better than python on many aspects but python is also. Lets say you are building… I an continuing, I hope you are capable of continuing it by yourself. Everyone knows which is better for their particular needs, so just let these memes go. We can be more creative with memes
Politely disagreeing, of course the requests made to google services and other statics services make the website slower but when you compare it with uncompressed image formats its almost as nothing. Of course those requests are unnecessary but you just cant compare them with images on slowing down the web.
It is not easy to explain this with in a thread but if you learn the rise of our modern world it will make sense why there are starving people. Yes there are solutions but you can’t just make everyone that happy, don’t forget that humans are greedy and don’t trust and cooperate with each other for no reason.
but it seems to me that most sustainable and only living(dont bs me with china, cuba, iran and others many of them are problamatic except china which many people still suffer) system is capitalism, if you consider more than 8 billion people and each one of them only care about their own local communities(familt, friends etc.)(I ignore small percantage of people who are charity workers etc.) it will make sense I hope
Even though Apple is not sharing personal data with third parties, relatively recently they started to use personal data in order to use them on advertisement of their own services. And considering the entire Apple ecosystem(if you are using all devices of course) it is a bit concerning they are using all of those data.
