Boss bought his VR headset into work on Friday and that’s how I ended up with a VR delivery on Saturday morning. It is so fun! And nice to be gaming and moving - Beat Sabar might be a new addiction. Anyone got any game recs for the Quest 3?

Isn’t it funny that over the break I slept fantastically. Solid every night, just about never needing to get up for the toilet, etc, but back to work and I’m awake at 4am musing over the stupidest things – not even always work related! Very frustrating.

So frustrating! Especially when the kitty realises you’re restless, so he comes in for love and cuddles (but really wants you to get up feed him), but you try to remove him from the bed and end up with kitty claw embedded in your thigh, which causes you to shout out and wake up the dog who then decides he needs to go out to pee and then do his senior stompy zoomies around the house…

Good morning! Still happily in PJ land, wondering if I can be bothered braving the shops or if staying in PJs is better. PJs are definitely better, but also means I’m less likely to also go to the gym.

Hope you all are having a delightful day! I did a family lunch with the bf’s family, probably the first “family” Christmas I’ve had for near 15 years. It was nice, but I’m happy to be back home, in my Christmas PJs and having a glass of wine.

You lot are rad, thank you for being such a lovely space.

Got some Christmas lights in the yard and wrote cards for everyone at work, that’s as far as I’ve gotten with Christmas this year. Still enjoying the season and am happy to be spending tomorrow with the boyfriend’s family for lunch before indulging in my own tradition of mac n cheese in my jamis… if the house survives the night and we don’t even up in Oz!

My neighbours have a beautifully curated display, I get the impression that the lady pretty much has Christmas as a personality trait. A different themed tee every day of the week, antlers on the car, lights all perfectly placed. My boyfriend decided he wanted to do lights, but ours looks like we sort of threw them at the house and lit them where they landed. I like our method. But I also like seeing hers, just not sure I could do that level of planning.

Each to their own! But I like sparkly things!
