I live next to a beach in Scotland. The amount of pastey white folk who are lobsterised, soaking in the star damage, right now is…frankly believable, people here will bbq in a light drizzle if it’s over 14°C.
If you’re pulling it from a dumpster, no judge in their right mind would opt to hear an argument about how the people who threw it IN A DUMPSTER are at fault for someone getting sick. Regardless of if the food were that off or not, dumpsters themselves are hardly hygienic…
It’s one of the things that I like the most about lemmy over reddit. The reddit linux community was toxic, insular and gatekeepy, even as a moderately experienced linux user I had difficulty getting help.

I had to lock the cat in. I’ve been home for less than an hour, and the little bastard has gone in and out 6 times. It’s pissing of rain, and he goes out, gets soaked, comes in and yells until I dry him off…the goes right back out…
