I’m not sure, but I do know that everyone I’ve ever known to go to a chiropractor for back pain has had poor results. Relief for a few days, then booking their next appointment, rinse and repeat, until eventually they stop wasting money on it.
In my mind, before I can play a game, I need to have lots of time, nothing else that I’m doing later, and the perfect amount of energy to really concentrate on it. Unfortunately, life has gotten busy, so I’m trying to get more comfortable playing for 20min here, 20min there instead of scrolling on my phone.
Nextdoor and other neighborhood apps are really eye-opening about how paranoid a lot of people are.
So much “This man came to my front door to try to break in!” when it’s clearly a door-to-door salesman. And then there’s always that one responder that implies they would’ve had their gun ready…
I started actively searching for oldies after posting a random comic from the 60s/70s the other week, because people seemed to enjoy it. I like the variety!
I suppose it should be for anyone familiar with the comic. Just thought the surprise punch through the newspaper alone was begging for this type of format.
A little while after the Gameboy color came out, I was able to get my hands on a rechargeable battery pack, and I remember thinking that was an absolute game changer.
I don’t miss the days of everything running on batteries.
