laptop is up there to stop the light from falling when the birds fly onto it. i have an extra kb and mouse attached so i dont have to reach. both pc and laptop are hooked to the big tv, just have to pick the input. my main pc is behind the headphones/mic on the right side of the curved screen

Southern Alberta, had it down there to give me more room in the living room, but have a roommate down there now. Making another post with the current setup.

sounds like a lemmy issue, wonder if anyone else is having problems too.

ya’ll are so good, i never need to look at the mod tools…ill see if anything there might be causing it.

Zero tools that i can find, no options other than only let mods post, and change up the sidebar. Maybe i’m just dumb and cant find it…

most of my stuff has been frankensteined together too. even the receiver was free cause the A+B speaker buttons were buggered along with the volume. i have not touched the volume knob in years, and just soldered the A side on permanently

i have been waiting 3 years for hip surgery, still no idea when it’ll happen. i’ve lost everything since im unable to work, let alone walk to the store. I can no longer afford to eat daily, every other day is still a bit much…gotta make that food last! my food budget was $8 this month. Food bank here in town helps, sure, but who wants to eat old, outdated, stale food, for years on end. Alberta government is more willing to let me die on MAID program than to fix me so i can go back to work and pay tax’ again.

The healthcare system here is FUCKED

i personally leave the dust cover on the top unless I’m playing something that will heat the pc up a bit more than normal, then I take it off to help with cooling. I have birds, so their dust and feathers seem to migrate to my pc, so normally I just leave it on at all times.

if your account is banned for adblocker (like one of mine) make new a account and it still works. (firefox, not sure about others)

pain in the ass to resub, but better than watching ads on the channels i have not whitelisted.

aparently i cannot upload a pic in the reply, might be a lemmy issue, might be me, i have been puffin lots today lol

but yeah, i get the ‘violates tos’ warning on every video, no matter the video. yet i swap over to my birds youtube and no issues at all. i dont even have to leave the page of that video, literally just swap accounts. I can still upload content to that account, but i cant even view my own videos while on that account.

Id be happy to screen record, post it to my birds youtube and show you what i mean.

I think I caught Oxhorn play the 2nd or 3rd day, and I was super unimpressed. I had high hopes for it, but knew who was developing it so had no interest in buying it new or anything, but wow. Maybe it just looks really nice while playing and crap while being streamed? Not a chance I’m buying it before it 75% off, or more
