@leah @apolaine @nicole I will check out Omnivore. Redwise definitely hndles more thn I use it for. I’m reading books in Apple Books and Kindle, reserch PDFs in Zotero, and hinestly don’t clip that much from web articles.

That feeling 15-minutes before a meeting when PowerPoint gives you the spinning ball of death while "saving" and you're not sure whether to force quit or wait.

The presentation becomes like schrodinger's cat, unknown until you open the box/presentation and see what reality PowerPoint preserved. Literally, you learn what timeline you are in.

This article on the double diamond is all wrong:
https://uxdesign.cc/death-to-the-double-diamond-296b1c4e51c4

It’s based on the idea that the double diamond gives you a prescriptive process for solving problems/creating designs.

But, the doube diamond doesn’t give you a prescriptive process. It says do two things:

  1. Ensure you have best framed the problem before you frame the solution
  2. Ensure you consider multiple possibilities before you converge on the best framing.

The double diamond never tells you how to diverge or converge or how to frame problems or solutions, only that you should.

It never gives you the activities or methods to use.

: trade the pomodoro timer for playing records. One LP side equates to a pomodoro session, and the music is better.

Quick. Someone post something. I'm trying to procrastinate.

Please boost for reach.

So I need to edit some html and css. What good text editor are we using nowadays?

I don't need much fancy. I code everything by hand.

(Back in my day, we didn't have frameworks... we coded everything by hand, uphill, both ways...)

"To keep us addicted, many of the websites and apps we use fuel the same neural circuitry used by cocaine and slot machines.
But RSS feeds allow you to consume content in a way that's free from any distractions or sneaky cocaine strategies.

They allow you to see only the content you want to read right there in the feed, in its entirety, and without all the fancy ads or triggering comments."
