It’s amazing how many cookie consent banners aren’t compliant. There has to be a button where you can clearly reject all, where it has equal look and feel as accept all. By default all non required cookies must be disabled, but the fact we can turn off the legitimate interest options shows they’re not required, and so they’re not compliant.
Basically every banner should have a reject button that’s just as clear as the accept. I’d you’re going through any extra effort to reject then it’s not compliant.
I don’t see how many, if any, of those questions in the images are relevant to someone being assessed of worthiness of citizenship. Surely it should be more about current day culture and the way we live in the UK?

Using the official Android app is painful. I uninstalled it right away as it was so frustrating to use, but using old.reddit.com on mobile is even *more *frustrating. I’d like to drop Reddit entirely but there’s a few subreddits that I enjoy.
For those who weren’t around back then: The 2009 aero regs introduced multi-element front wings. These new wings allowed for significantly more downforce allowing for cars to handle more power before losing grip. However, when an attacker got within a second or two of someone they’d start to lose all that new grip and power...
I honestly don’t really see the problem with having DRS. Yes it can be a little boring when cars can just breeze past but it does bring some additional tactics that the drivers can use, specifically around taking the right moment to over take as to not allow the overtaken car to get another round of DRS. A recent example is Austria where Verstappen timed his overtakes so that the other car couldn’t battle back, but Perez kept trying to overtake too early, and other car would then end up getting DRS on him and then the overtake would fail.
There was a race at Abu Dhabi (I can’t remember the year, but it was a few years ago now) where DRS was “broken” (I’m convinced it wasn’t, but an experiment to see what a racing would be like without it) and everyone just got stuck in a train. Faster cars were stuck behind others and I think there were 0 overtakes.
I read your parent comment as being hypothetical, not tied to the driver actually having to have a contract with a team.
The only drivers who I think would trouble him are Hamilton, Norris, Piastri (maybe, he’s got the pace but lacking experience), and Alonso. Leclerc is fast but too error prone.
I think pitting for softs before the rain really helped him shoot up the field, he was lapping about 4 seconds faster than Verstappen at one point when everyone else was struggling.
I just watched the race and I didn’t notice the hole until I saw a post on Reddit, I don’t think it was obvious during the race that there was that much damage.
This is the first race where there’s some chance he won’t win. If his previous starts have been anything to go by then it’s possible that Lando takes him on the start and him and Lewis pull enough of a gap to make it difficult for Max to overtake.
Ok maybe I’m in Dreamland but this is probably the first race where it’s not guaranteed that Max will win.
I think the track is quite a bit warmer too today, so it’s good to see that they’re still fast. I think there was some concern they’d lose their pace as the temperatures ramp up.
That said, we still don’t know until qualy and the race!
We need to see how Ric performs at AT. If Tsunoda outscores him over the remaining races then it will be difficult to justify why they’d promote Ric over Tsu.
I love asking UK, especially English, people this question; the answers vary wildly. Once had a Londoner describe the north as “anywhere north of the M25”....
I was actually going to mention that in my original comment. In my mind it kind of is in the midlands seeing as it aligns with the rest of the midlands.
Unrelated, but my Lemmy client says this post is a year old. Is that right? It appears in my feed as if it’s recent, and other recent comments suggest they’re seeing it in their feed too.

Please note this is just a beta and there are going to be bugs, but it works and it works nicely. Have fun.
