You are creating a galvanic cell so if it gets wet you will definitely get corrosion. Luckily the aluminum parts are the ones that are more anodic and corrode so you wouldn’t be ruining the frame.
If the lubricant isn’t conductive it would at least help.
Sorry for running late on this one… Please drop some book club nominations for October (preferably not 1000 pages as we are getting started a little late)....
I’m trying to use my car less and bike to places where I can. I’ve thought about getting an e-bike to extend the range of places I can bike to, but one things that’s holding me back is what do I do with it while at the store? If it were just my crappy normal bike I wouldn’t really worry too much about someone stealing...
A few hundred might be underselling it a bit. In the brief time I’ve been researching this I was mostly looking at the lectric brand bikes, which start around $800 USD.
I’ve seen some for several thousands but wasn’t really considering those since this won’t be a daily driver and I’m already paranoid about getting the cheaper one stolen.
I have a theory that there is a impossible trinity (like in economics), where a food cannot be delicious, cheap and healthy at the same time. At maximum 2 of the 3 can be achieved....
Steel - Aluminum corrosion
I have a steel frame and I’m looking on getting aluminum parts (eg: seatpost, headset etc)...
The best part of having the day off is you can put off the dishes until the morning
Was too lazy to actually do the dishes last night, but that’s ok since I had all day to get the kitchen cleaned up...

How would you guys feel about having a book club for the community?
If you are up for the idea, how would you like to see something like that structured? I read a lot and would love to discuss.
