I built this Canadian highlander #magicthegathering deck that I'd love to get feedback on before I proxy it. I've never played the format just watched a lot of north 100 on #loadingreadyrun I kinda think I'm not running enough interaction for the format but also don't have a good pulse on the meta nor have a playgroup for this format either. @ctrl_magic I feel like the Harmonize and Fellwar Stone are too weak for #Canlander and could easily be cut for more control elements or better effects. And Destiny spinner and soul Warden aren't doing a lot in the theme and you could totally swap in Thraben/ Intrepid investigator for more tokens
Mythweaver Poq is so miserable to play against in brawl. Like even if you remove it, they play one land when it comes into play and they can recast it next turn and it comes back bigger. It only costs four so you can pretty consistently cast it at turn 3. Like it just feels like an inevitable loss. It's miserable. I think the only way to rebalance it would be to make it cost 7 or to make it a 4/4 instead of having it grow. #mtgarena#magicthegathering
@tapandrollgames believe me I'm glad it's not a paper card. I've accepted alchemy cards as a thing I have to engage with if I want to play my favorite online formats unfortunately. And honestly most of the cards are fine it's just a select few that when used as a commander are very unfun to go against.
I get why people are potentially unhappy with the new play boosters (list cards in a draft environment, more pricy packs), but this seems like the best possible compromise of combining the two booster types. Am a little sad the art cards are going away though. #magicthegathering
I think they could do more interesting things with that slot which would also eliminate the need for a completely different production line.
I'd love to see them do something more interesting with tokens/counters. I think WotC underestimates how much players appreciate and use themed tokens/counters. It would be cool to see them do some short-prints/chase variants of them. I think the average player would see that as more enticing than the art cards.
I want to get an #magicthegathering#tattoo but am kinda torn on what to get. The cards I feel like I associate the most with me (pangosaur and viscera seer) don't feel like they'd translate well to a tattoo. What's some MTG tattoos y'all have?
