One of the weird things about rooting for the #Padres is it makes sense to root for the #Dodgers when they play other National League teams. Nobody’s going to beat LA over 162 games, so you might as well root for them to beat up SD’s wild-card competition. #MLB #baseball @baseball

@jdm2 @nba — This was a major culprit back in the day, but not so much anymore. The system of running out with the big round mops when the ball’s on the other end of the court doesn’t always leave enough time for mopping up sweat.

Great throw by Rutschman to nail J-Rod at second, but the runner would’ve been out anyway because of batter’s interference. Still, the throw was more impressive when the batter had to duck to keep from being drilled in the ear. @baseball

Defense wins in the playoffs. Throw in the MVP, and you get another big win from the #Nuggets.

Normally when Joker scores 40+, #Denver struggles because the other players aren’t involved. But four other Nuggets scored in double figures tonight because Joker had 13 assists with his 40 points.

Game six is Thursday in Minnesota. Hopefully, we can close it out there. #NBA @nba

Joker dominated that third quarter, which is what MVPs do. He has 35 points, 16 in that quarter, and 12 assists. #Nuggets up 14 after three quarters. #NBA @nba

Good first half for #Denver. The offense isn’t flowing like normal, but the defense — especially Christian Braun on ANT — kept Minnesota out of rhythm, too.

Sixteen points for Joker in the fourth. (M.V.P.!) #Nuggets win, 115-107, to tie the series, 2-2.

Good game for all of the Nuggets, but Aaron Gordon deserves special attention. He guards CAT, then guards ANT, then plays center when Joker’s out, and he also posted these numbers on offense:

27 points, seven rebounds, six assists and 11-of-12 from the field.

@mrcompletely @nba — He can do almost anything you need him to do, but he’s humble enough to only do what you need. He rarely tries to “do too much.” He’s a perfect fit for Denver.

Joker had to sit for six minutes of the third quarter after his fourth foul, but the #Nuggets held their own. Up 11 after three, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Joker plays the entire fourth quarter. Jamal Murray, BTW, had 12 points in the third. #NBA @nba
