#SPORTS is a form of entertainment but it's supposed to be ground in the reality of the action, happening in real time, in front of a witnessing crowd.
i hate, hate, hate how the #NBA is getting into the business of blurring reality & fantasy.
it's one thing when fantasy is in its own "container" like EA's games. it's another when it's supposed to be selling a real NYC as part of the #playoffs.
this place is a composite of several places in NYC. it doesn't exist.
Is it just me? The sea of alternating blue and white T-shirts alternating by section in #OKC is oddly unsettling. Gives off a weird Stepford Wives, Brave New World, Logan's Run vibe that's making this game hard to watch. #NBA#NBAPlayoffs#basketball
This is one of the more surprising games in recent #nba history. Denver has a truly great offense and Minnesota is absolutely handing them their collective ass. It doesn't seem fluky at all either
I'm not a true dedicated #basketball fan. I love March Madness and watch the #NBA Playoffs more often than not. Given that, this is the most fun I've ever had watching the New York Knickerbockers. The Patrick Ewing 90s Knicks were on the cusp of greatness, but theirs was also a plodding game that was often hard to watch. And that's before John Starks decided to throw brick after brick after brick from the arc in the Finals.
