1322 Philip V of France died. His bones were buried in Saint Denis Basilica, his viscera in the church of the now-demolished Couvent des Jacobins in Paris. In Staint Denis, he is commemorated today the most left effigy. @medievodons

1497 Beatrice d'Este, Duchess of Milan, died. She was buried in Santa Maria delle Grazie (Milan). Her husband Ludovico Sforza had a double tomb sculpture made, but he died in captivity, the sculpture was placed in the Certosa di Pavia. @medievodons P: WC

A treatment gone wrong: 1387 Charles II, called 'the Bad', of Navarre died. He is said to have had himself stitched in wine-soaked cloths every evening to cure an illness. However, these caught fire... @medievodons

(?) 1317 (?) died Mary of Bytom, Queen of Hungary, Croatia and Dalmatia. Besides the time of death, the burial place is also disputed. However, there is this depiction of the burial from the Chronicon Pictum, unfortunately without references. @medievodons
