The FediDB Fediverse User Growth graph shows a significant jump in user count in February. Software distribution is also 81% other, and the biggest server is fediverse.hanbitgaram.com with 39 million users ! What happened ? https://fedidb.org/
The site has no ads on most pages, the adblocker breaks basic functionality. It’s a site for “generators” which are basically little programs that randomise stuff. You should check it out, it’s quite nice.
As for adding a blub to the adblock page, that’s a good idea, @perchance add it please
@perchance You hate adblockers - I get it, but at least stop with the fearmongering?
The whole "anti-adblock" page is written in a way where clearly it's meant to scare the average user that doesn't know any better into disabling their adblocker because it's "breaking" basic functionality of the site. And the proof? A link to a filter list that hasn't had the relevant rule in it since 3 days ago! That's right, it isn't even applicable anymore!
Mate, you could’ve just said that ublock removed the relevant rule instead of making an arrogant comment. You also didn’t even ping the dev, so they probably won’t see it. @perchance (pinging dev). Adblock was breaking basic functionality last time I looked.
