contemplating making the world’s worst pager which doubles as an alarm clock. a few 18650s, meshtastic to receive the pages, a relay, and a big screamer siren you typically would see for intrusion alarms. what can go wrong?

askling for myself: do good free headless kiosk + digital signage management systems exist in the public for linux? i'm trying to get a firefox browser that just loads home assistant on a thin client and hoping to have OS management be automatically done by the management system. does such a thing exist for free?
