feditips, 10 months ago to CafeMeta in Kbin Cafe Is Now Using Cloudflare @kfynh @barista I think the Kbin admin said they might be able to reconfigure it so that it didn't stop federation, but they needed time to find out. A lot of people are uncomfortable with Cloudflare's privacy though, but that's a separate issue.
