Hell yeah, I'll never not be mad that our garbage justice system let him skate for this long, but it's great to see he's getting one step closer to the jail/prison cell where he belongs (though I'm just going to get mad all over again when they give him lenient bail; also, where's the felony murder charge for pushing a violent coup that was the proximate cause of multiple deaths?).
Honestly, biggest surprise for me is seeing the Independent of all places get this scoop. They're a fine publication, but they're pretty U.K. based and not even as big as something like the Guardian, and normally when anything leaks out of DC circles it goes to NYT WaPo or PBS/NPR, so it's weird to see them get this news.
The guy making that tweet does not appear to be a journalist, and for the source for this he linked to this article on Just the News, who I've never heard of before and, based on another article from the same author on their home page that looks like it's trying to spin a lot of evidence free allegations about Biden being involved in a bribery scheme with Ukraine as evidence that Biden actually was involved in a bribery scheme with Ukraine, does not seem like a good source
The Independent is a solid publication with a good track record of truth telling though, so I don't doubt this story (and thank you for posting it!), but these links look like some grifters trying to legitimize themselves by hopping on to a real news story while it's hot

Ah, that explains it, I'm running the AMOLED theme on Jerboa, but doing dark mode at the OS level (android 13 with one UI 5.1 also, btw) breaks a Galaxy Theme I've been using for a long time and really love, so I just go piecemeal app by app turning each of them to their dark modes, but sometimes that produces weird/unintended interactions like this one

Anyway, speaking as someone who doesn't know much about any of this yet, where is that at in the development process? I'm guessing people send code ideas to dessalines/their team, the code is reviewed and approved by them, and then it's sent off to the Google people for a review before it gets to the play store? I'm not in any kind of rush for this fix, so I'm just curious if it'll get to me eventually on its own or if I will have to have a bit more initiative (sideloading apps is on my list of "things I really should have figured out by now" (honestly more of a book than a list))
I actually don't have very strong feelings about gun control (like, it might help prevent some mass shootings and gun violence, but it's a really imperfect tool that relies way too much on cops not being bigoted assholes who enforce things selectively), but the notion that lying about your food stamp eligibility constitutes a "serious crime" is outrageous
Kind of spendy and maybe too absorbing, but I've found that the Android version of Dead Cells is a great way to kill anywhere from a little to a lot of time and the touch screen controls work surprisingly well (tho you're definitely going to want a controller for any of the higher difficulty runs)
