A maplestory private server dropped last weekend and I played it obsessively for a few days, but then slowly realized through interactions that a majority of the people playing it kind of suck 😆 Imagine redditors merged with edgelord gamers.
I could still deal, but then I watched the dev join in on dogpiling on someone criticizing some of the game design and I went noooope I'm done if they can't do basic conflict resolution, especially seeing they're unwilling to rein in the edgelords

Local pride was cute. The booths were either for inclusive churches, random corps, or charities, nothing particularly exciting. More of a family oriented vibe. Some cool local artists were performing though
