There is a madness to my method.
Absolutely amazing, oh so modest.

I twisted my back a couple days' ago and am needing strong painkillers to do anything at the moment. Stupid body should have user-replaceable parts!

ibeardslee,

@KathyReid I wonder if @frameworkcomputer or @Fairphone are working on that yet ;)

Facebook hit with a 1.2B Euro fine for disregarding European privacy regulations.

"The US government response revealed a fundamental problem: the American state didn’t respect the privacy rights of foreigners."

ibeardslee,

@davemosk and this is why matters. Businesses in Aotearoa really need to consider what they are storing on US owned cloud services. Even if that data is being stored on disks in data centres in NZ, if it is run by a US owned cloud service, it is not sovereign.

I've had a RPi Zero W do bad things with it's SD card a couple of times. It has been one of my 'collectors', collecting data (temp & humidity) and passing it on to my MQTT broker for @homeassistant (and InfluxDB/Grafana) to use. Hopefully turning off all local logging will take the pressure off the card.

But today I managed to get Node-RED in Home Assistant to alert me via Matrix if an alive isn't published (implying the Pi has shat itself again). Yay me!

Today marks nine years since the last big OpenOffice update (4.1). If you're still using it, but want something more up-to-date, check out ! It was based on OpenOffice and is also free and open source, but with huge improvements and many fixes: https://www.libreoffice.org/discover/libreoffice/

ibeardslee,

@libreoffice I remember, many many years ago, buying a copy of Staroffice.
