There were a lot of small changes proposed during the break, so many that I will gather them all up and implement them together for a single release....

Just a quick update post since I haven’t made a new release all year....

Just a lot of polish and a few fulfilled feature requests. This update was supposed to be quick and improve the look and feel of the app as well as knock out some user requests but some of the changes took a lot more effort than budgeted....

It really looks like he’s smiling in his sleep 🥺

Just wanted to check how people felt about the app purely from a performance point of view. Is the app smooth? Do you notice a lot of fps lag? Are certain parts of the app more laggy than others?...

This update aims to introduce some features that will make tablet support easier in the future. I’m no artist but while I was working on adding user avatars to the comments section, I felt it was too plain to just show nothing for users without an avatar. So I spent a few hours sketching my own lemming and turned it into a feature! Starting from the next update you will be able to have the app generate your own lemming...

This is a pretty big update under the hood. This update overhauls the preference system used by the app, allowing the app to mix and compose different sets of preferences. This change allows the app to support per-account setting overrides. This means you can now override individual settings in the app for a specific account....

Whenever we open a can of tuna we drain the can into a bowl, split it in two (one for each cat we have) and then dilute it a bit with water and give it to the cats. Our cats go crazy for it.

I know there is already a feature that allows you to send an image to Summit to create a post but sometimes I want to reply to a comment with an image and I don’t want to use the janky Android image picker to find the image. This update will focus on adding per account settings. I.e. settings that change based on which account is selected. These can be useful for an assortment of reasons. Such as being able to designate an account as a NSFW account, and customizing actions and themes based on which account is selected....
