Drinking aviation alcohol has long traditions in Russia. Generally I think fuels aren’t drinkable (at least more than once) but ethyl alcohol (ie. ethanol) is used in eg. cooling and air conditioning. The Tu-22 is known as the “supersonic booze carrier” because the cockpit air conditioning used 40% ABV ethanol / water mix for coolant, and air and ground crews would drink it and even sell it.

They are an existential threat as this point. Not only are they the biggest opposition to climate action, they’re also inevitably going to produce more Breiviks (or Hitlers for that matter)
