Played about ten minutes of and put it back down due to evening work-pings and dinner bells. I’ll pick it up again when the din dies down. I am very convinced that it deserves my full attention for a little while.

I am a little nervous the game will end up landing not too far from The Stanley Parable because that is clearly the foundation that it built its cloister on. But it signals further ambitions pretty early on, and I know it's a short game, so I'm willing to strap in for it.

I didn’t love The Stanley Parable. I was a world-weary interactive fiction nerd who was like “pfft, seen it” when it first came out. I played its Super Deluxe Edition or whatever just last year and was like: Heh, yeah, OK. But the point is, now I really feel like I’ve seen it, when you bust out a possibly diegetic and absolutely British narrator from the start.
