@bass I was sending charms to a friend in prep for this and thank the seven eternal alchemies, because it only costed him about 100g to get a rune and qualify for the relic, compared to having upfront a full set.
Looking forward to the lmao the day after free relic 2-in-1 is done.
Spent today replacing Linux Mint with Pop OS. Graphics drivers got really messed up at some point so I'm using that as an excuse to try something a little different. Feels nice so far!
@bass Pop OS isn't bad but I don't like Gnome. Installing XFCE to it isn't hard but it feels messy since two DEs have their stuff hanging around the system.
@bass These days I use Debian as it is. Though you'd likely have to install more from apt and Debian repos manually, but you cut a lot of junk out and it's pretty lean as is.
I've seen a few complaints about how the new dailies and weeklies are too easy. They aren't supposed to challenge you, they're designed to make you return to the game every day for rewards. They're getting a tad repetitive though.
@that_shaman funnily enough, yesterday had funny dailies on PvE+WvW. I guess there's no handler for doubling up. It appears as three dailies instead of four, but shows the dupe when complete in the sidebar before claiming.
The reason why you have to take part in Dagda's yoga lessons just before you defeat Nourys is to allow people to get back up on the platform for the final part
Thankfully only found out recently that Burrito actually does work on Linux, since there's no vanilla Taco nor Blish. It's not particularly advanced and apparently last updated in November 2022, but it means map completion on Linux for anything that doesn't screw up (EoD maps) is functional with whatever trail setup this is. Wish I could use Teh's Trails with the mount critter icons though.
Look it really isn't that complicated, if someone asks you "I need your help in Maguuma" just go to the Maguuma Jungle.. or the Maguuma Wastes.. or the Heart of Maguuma.. or the Maguuma WvW server.. or if you still haven't found your friend after an hour try the Horn of Maguuma!
@bass@that_shaman provided the prices go back up. Bolt and Bifrost prices are like that one Spongebob episode with the #1 hat. I imagine selling for high margin would require waiting for prices to rise.
That being said, I think it's very good as a way to make your own discount legendaries if they rotate which ones can be made. I'm gonna make a discount Bolt sometime for myself so I'll have dual sword when I make Aurene's Fang in 99 years.
@pixel@bass Costs probably vary, but if you get the one currently available for 1000 daily currency thing, you get a choice of precursors for Bifrost, Quip, or Bolt (might be another I don't recall), you get the named Gift unique to that weapon, and you get either the Gift of Might or Magic which means you only need a stack of half the T6 mats.
https://live.dragontrove.fun/ I've managed to get a Peertube instance for some nonsense.
I mostly built it since there's some federation interest among #GuildWars2 folks. Registration and video uploading/live streaming is limited at the moment while I calibrate and see how things go, but if you do videos related to GW2, I'm open to host it. I'll probably be federating it soonventually.
I may or may not have no idea how this goes, so heeere we go.
@pixel@bass Thanks. I can't believe this works. Even when hosted on FreeBSD. Livestream chat even works, which I thought was going to be a larger problem.
"Aurene look I have your staff and greatsword."
"Yes Champion, you've shown me already."
"Also I have your mom's prophecy on my shield."
"Yes Champion. I know."
"Also I have your mom."
"I think you should go now..."
