I don't get it. You know these services obey the (unfair) (copyright) law. Why keep hosting Yuzu forks on Github or gitlab and communicating through Discord if you know they are going to be taken down.

It's like people have forgotten that if you are going to piss off a big company, you need to use your own infrastructure and be stealthy about it. Host your own repo, outside of public internet, work in private with the other devs, and don't boast about it.

@rootcompute i heard something other day about people that don't know you can carry software on a pendrive and execute it on a different computer.

We have gone full Idiocracy since the iPhone released. And the worst part is that even services are hostile to someone who does not want to use the cloud. A software that does not take into account that the user prefers to use his own backup solution. "If you don't use onedrive, you are at risk!" Eat a fat potato, micro$haft.

@rootcompute we has to disable boot from USB or CD at work because it was a security risk.

It's worse than it looks because many people don't even know it can be done, so it is not even blocked in many companies that would restrict permissions on windows but you still can boot Kali.

Normies nowadays probably don't even know that you can install an OS from removable media, just factory restore and waiting for daddy Big Tech to send the update.

Like fucking domesticated cattle.

Excited for baseball opening day today! As a Cardinals fan, I am predicting that they hit under 84.5 wins, finish third in the NL Central and miss the playoffs. I sure hope I'm wrong though, either way just excited to have this great sport back on my TV!

And I can't even say I like it because I will get asked to join the (hyper)local team (not a lot of fans because soccer and rugby syphoon everyone). I don't have knees for that.

With European Club Soccer, matches now start at 23:00 GMT+1 or later because the target audence is china. Everybody is pretty angry since it makes watching football impossible if you work the next day.

@rootcompute I can only use RIP my wallet with Nintendo. Tha's where you could make a meme where a Steam user sees a 70% sale and says "Pathetic", while the nintendo user is offered a 20% sale and reacts with "Take all my money".
