After a year of having our car this weekend I discovered that our car has a sun roof. This whole time Colleen and I thought we had a moon roof because the roof would only pop open a little bit when we pressed the button, but turns out the button is actually a toggle that pulls back the sun roof…

People have been telling me for a while that I should consider offering career coaching, beyond my current weekly office hours for underrepresented folks in tech.

I’m starting to really consider the idea. What would you want to see on the website beyond being able to book a session? I have vast experience across the entire product/design/engineering process from indie to startup to big tech, what kind of proof beyond word of mouth should I have? Testimonials, work history, anything else?

This medical system where I constantly have to call my doctor’s office to call my insurance company and a specialized pharmacy just so I can get a botox injection in my neck to help treat a rare and very painful neurological condition isn’t working. These medical providers exist for a reason, but that reason is seemingly unknown.

Yesterday was a looong day, getting up at 4:30 to fly to Chicago, attending the first day of , focused on Indie Development, meeting some incredible people, some of whom I’ve known online for years, and finishing the day off with some incredible deep dish from Pequod’s. Can’t believe I lasted the whole day, but sleep has been good - another full day is coming up!

I need to find a spot to watch the Rangers game tonight, though…

@daniel it sounded that way to me, but I suspect it won’t change anything anytime soon. I expect you’re right about still wanting to collect the 30% (or the 27% that they collect in the Netherlands for this)
