mbgid,

Glad you like it!

mbgid,

Thank you, I like this a lot. Will keep my eye out for the EP.

Edit: if anyone else is curious, the EP can be preordered from the band’s Bandcamp.

mbgid,

I’m really sorry, I had colitis and it was awful. I really hope you find some relief from it.

mbgid,

I thought that was just so the pocket didn’t sag during storage/display. Aren’t you meant to break that stitching? I have been 😂

Switching back to Android (GrapheneOS), anything cool I've been missing out on?

Long story short: I don’t like iOS but have been using an iPhone for a couple years due to lack of personally viable hardware options on the Android side of things. I’ve gotten tired of waiting and found a good deal on an open box Pixel 8 Pro which arrives in a few days, I’ll be installing GrapheneOS on it....

mbgid,

My go-to *sonic/navidrome client on Android is Symfonium. It’s not free but it’s well-maintained and has all the features I need (smart playlists, artist radio, gapless playback and replaygain).

mbgid,

TDS and Fragile era NIN is what I’m most drawn to, probably because I was at the age where I was forming my musical tastes when I first heard them. But I really like the soundtrack work Trent and Atticus are doing now. It’s not NIN but it still has all the subtle layering and depth I love from those earlier albums.

mbgid,

I remember when I first heard it, it didn’t immediately grip me and I put it away for a while. But when I came back to it I was blown away, now it’s one of my favourite albums. Along with You Fail Me it’s an absolute masterpiece.

mbgid,

Oh wow this had completely passed me by. I love this style, thanks!

mbgid,

Yeah I really like his tone and playing style. I’ll be checking more out by him.

mbgid,

I can’t speak for the mods but I’d love to see original music here.

mbgid,

I enjoyed Rio Grande Blood and The Last Sucker. There was some filler on those albums but there were some solid tracks too.
