I don't actually care much what Eugen does with Mastodon, or about whether Facebook joins the Fediverse, or anything else like that. There's enough room for us all here. I just wish the smaller communities would also get more consideration in the media, but honestly, maybe it's for the better that we don't.
@Jain I could see mastosoc splitting from the rest of the network if they decide to go in a totally different direction, but I do not see that as an existential threat either.
