We are currently hiring for a role and interviewed a promising candidate for a second time at the end of last week.
An hour after his interview, another application comes in from his colleague, who was recommended the job from the original candidate. The interview went well.
I've now got to decide between one or the other (or do I just hire both of them? 😄)
Diving back into a project that used Vue and it seems to be throwing an error when I add a data- attribute to a HTML element. It's a static string which I use for something else.
My dad takes care over his tools (I do not), so if I borrow any of his, I make sure I am using it correctly and as it was intended and that it gets packed away clean and neat.
I even jet washed his jet washer the other day as I had got it dirty 🤦♂️
I'm looking for a solution to branch-based previews for a #PHP / #MySQL stack. We have nearly 60 sites we want to set this up for (a lot of services I find either charge $1000s or don't even support that many).
I don't want anything fancy, I don't need to edit in the browser. I would like to push a branch to gitlab and have the option to spin up an environment to preview.
I have considered doing it myself, but I was hoping to not have to support my own infrastructure.
To add to this, we don't have 60 projects running at the same time - I don't mind a cap on "simultaneous environments" - I'm looking for a service that I can run a preview env without having to connect & reconnect projects to do it
@neamil Thanks @neamil , this thread has thrown up a lot of food for thought, if you have something, somewhere, i'd like to have a look - but don't go digging if it's not to hand
@gcg@ramsey Ah, that is cool. What would be the killer feature is if it doesn't spin up until the URL is access & then shut down after ~10 mins of inactivity.
Devs & Ams would have no problem waiting a minute or two for it to startup to preview it
What would you call someone who builds accessible and usable UIs, using HTML, CSS, and 🤏🏼 JS, and collaborates with designers, developers, and testers?

There might be a mass-organisation of everyone to make sure you don't overtake anyone you haven't before. That way, the average would ever so slightly creep away from you 😆
