good hard modes/difficulty are hard to find. Many games do the "just increase health and damage output and that's it" instead of increasing enemy intelligence

tbqh, a someone in a video put it, X's hallways were nice because they were filled to the brim with stuff and many twisted in different ways, or had a "gimmick". FFXIII's hallways are mostly empty with just enemies
