I finally set up my nginx to send a gzip bomb to scanners that try to hit /wp-* stuff because there ain't no wordpress on my website thank you very much
@emily Sure! heres the location snippet. My regex is probably not the best in that it feels both a bit too generic and not generic enough (i've seen scanners append an extra / in front of wp-login.php, ...). Maybe i'd be better served by matching against everything that ends in wp-login.php or .env or .git or whatever.
@jon sometimes if you get lucky the DMU goes all the way from Saarbrücken to Metz and back, and honestly I don't know if that's better or worse. Having a DMU on a line that is fully electrified feels so icky! We even have Multimode trainsets, they could just run electric to Forbach and switch to diesel to Saarbrücken or something but I guess you would need to equip them to run in Germany and that doesn't make money?
@jon of course there would be... why do train services have to be like that as soon as a border is involved? I can only hope this gets resolved quickly
