@matt like the idea in general but don’t think it would work as well with longer, more action based task names. Maybe it needs to go below or the ‘done’ circle ui element could slowly fill, as projects and certain widgets do already.

I miss the old Moves app that showed where I had walked throughout a day and where I had made stops along the way. All without needing to start a workout. Does anyone know of a modern alternative?

@simonbs Google Maps has this feature. Obviously it’s Google, but I’ve had it switched on for years and find it very interesting/useful.

@gruber sure you’ve already had this feedback, but StandBy works plugged in to charge when the phone is horizontal.

So I think the requirement is the phone is charging and it’s horizontal.

OMG the latest iOS 17 developer beta is a NIGHTMARE for me. My phone runs super hot all time and it’s hemorrhaging battery life (65% at 9:45am)…woof.

By far the worst experience of the beta season so far, and a good reminder that someone saying “the beta is good, go for it!” is always risky to trust because betas get better and worse as they go.

@matt beta 4 is way better for me, but I was getting exactly this on b3. I was using wired CarPlay for nav and podcasts and my phone lost 20% battery after a 2.5hr drive.

Using low power mode massively helped during the 3 weeks of b3.
