@mkennedy hey Micheal I recall some time ago in a talk python to me episode you shared you use uwsgi to run your pyramid apps, is that still the case?

@mkennedy ah okay. I'm thinking of going to gunicorn cuz I've been experiencing a lot of weird timeouts with uwsgi and nginx as reverse proxy. Wondered if it was your experience too.

@mkennedy hmmm when doing my research I found that sockets are more reliable than http connection

@mkennedy that's a nice perk of the http connection vs sockets. So I'm guessing you've never experienced 504 or 499 timeouts when using uwsgi right?

@felixxm what's not clear to me is why I would use a custom Manager over a custom queryset. Based on your article, I could get away with only using custom querysets for organizing my queries.
