A movie called Midnight Meat Train is either going to be exactly terrible as you'd expect or surprisingly decent.

@cory Funny you mention Midnight Meat Train…
I expected it to be abysmally terrible when I watched it in 2009.; and I ended up really liking it. I thought the movie was pretty faithful to the source material, which was a huge plus for me since I was a fan of Barker's Books of Blood.

On big caveat:
I haven't read Books of Blood or watched MMT in 15+ years. So there's a possibility that I might find it to be terrible now. 😅

From what I remember it was a well made movie from a technical perspective.
It’s also pretty brutal as far as horror movies of the time went.
