The pitch depends on the Iteration number of the middle pixel.

Cruising along the Mandelbrot Set at zoom 10. When the middle of the image is black , we get a high-pitched sound, otherwise a deeper one, the less Iteration it took to escape.

@travisfw small spheres give high pings, big soheres give low notes.
I think in the first moments the sound is missing, so don't try there.

How deep the Sphere Packing is iterated greatly affects the tune it plays.

Going through the cross sections of an Apollonian Sphere Packing several times. Each times the iteration is deeper and the Animation slower. The tune gets more disconcerting.

@noneuclideandreamer This question has been occupying me for some time:

I want to avoid adding a ready-made composition to an animation. Which has no relation to the events in the graphic animation.

I want to avoid generating only noise from the graphic movements or the graphic glitch effects. Without a musical structure.

And i am fascinated by the way Iannis Xenakis composed music.

@kandid Yeah it would be cool to generate "real" music taylored to the animation.
My music theory knowledge is a tad too rudimentary at this point for too high ambitions. 😉 So my plan is to have fun with it an slowly up my game.

I actually also enjoy finding music fitting an animation (or sometimes just my mood).

We pass through an Apollonian Sphere Packing, seeing its cross-section. Every sphere has a note corresponding to its curvature. It is played when the sphere appears and again when we see it in its full size. Lots of high notes with less deep notes mix to an eerily melodic sound.
