The community has established a foothold for abhorrent behavior in the greater Linux desktop community, and is a welcoming home for assholes, nazis, transphobes, and bigots of all kinds.

They have shown us that they will not change. Building a fence around their community and removing them from our shared spaces is a project that I unconditionally support.

nwgpiotr,

@drewdevault Just a side note: if sway had automatic layouts (Dwindle) and some better Nvidia support, many people would not need Hyprland.

If you are a software developer who uses Linux, I would like to know your choice. Feel free to coment why, and boost for reach. Your feedback is much appreciated. :)

nwgpiotr,

@array Exactly. The newest stuff always in range.

  • nwgpiotr,

@hq1 Haha, you are welcome! 😉 The idea comes from i3-alternating-layout by Ole Martin Handeland. I've only written a similar code capable of working on both i3 and sway.

The combo of firewalls, root access and especially networked hp printers (and hplip software obviously) can turn anyone into an uncontrollable eruption of anger, that can't be managed anymore. Beer time.

    nwgpiotr,

@stfn @peppe This may vary between different firms.

    nwgpiotr,

@stfn @peppe Accounting in PL is still a bit old-fashioned. They pay based on the PDF file, but they need the originals with a stamp and signature ad acta.

    nwgpiotr,

@stfn @peppe That's the way it works. Thankfully I only print one sheet per month. :)

    nwgpiotr,

@peppe hplip alone happens to be enough to make one cry.

    nwgpiotr,

@stfn @peppe My wife issues an invoice for her work once a month. That's why we have a printer.

I'm thinking of unsubscribing from the tag since the discussion has gone to the dogs.

    nwgpiotr,

    @hq1 One more shit storming.

Chromebook Asus C201pa given a third life at the office: works as my web scraper from now on. :)

    nwgpiotr,

@proactiveservices I installed it two years ago, it still works. I don't remember much about the installation. Now I just put a script and cron job on it.
