"Spammers" are removed for exact that reason.

It is probably fine to follow hundreds or thousands of people and projects, if they keep their posts to a proper number.

@Anachron @underlap I'm using friendi.ca/ and it should be possible to write an plugin for that. Provide a time range and count the posts within the database.

I'm absolutely not into mastodon and therefore can't provide any hint for that or any other software.

But I'm fine with just reading my timeline. It is not only about the amount, but also topics.

People shift their topics from time to time. I'll then remove them from my timeline if it doesn't match anymore.

Today I took the time to take a look at my followers and found some really interesting personalities in there!

It's quite sad to have such a limited bubble only. There are so many great minds on Fosstodon, yet my time and resources are so limited.

Sometimes I wish I could sit down and drink a coffee or tea with each and every one of you and talk about your ideas and opinions, even (or especially) if they are not like mine.

Keep it up people, you are great!

@Anachron I'd try to use hashtags. And you have more than 260 followers that might reshare.

I guess that way you night already hear some more opinions. That way you probably won't sit down, but at least some might share their own opinions.

Seit wann gibt es das bei Amazon Prime? "Dialogue Boost"? Hallelujah. Ich hasse den ganzen schlechten Stereo-Downmix der Streamer, wo Effekte immer zigmal lauter sind als die Stimmen.

@supergarv Ich hatte das Problem auch als ich damals 5.1 hatte.
Ich höre unter anderem, aber nicht nur, deswegen alles mit deutscher synchro. Da gibt es das Problem nicht.

Aber ist doch dann schön zu sehen das wenigstens amazon das Problem lösen will.
Vielleicht guckt man die Filme in anderen Ländern auch wegen der action und nicht der Dialoge.

The Internet is dying.

Websites with libraries and media pulled from 30+ domains seem to be no exception anymore.

Who does this? Who has the guts to call himself a web developer or Website Administrator and then go crazy with includes?

At very least bundle it yourself. I cant look at Websites nowadays. Doesnt help that I know 1. how to make it better and 2. why it happens. :-/

@Anachron @Natanox :D thanks... But the sad thing is that it is very hard to convince customers. It becomes harder the bigger they are.

I gave up and try to do my best. But I'm always only one part of a team and others don't care enough. It is the same with accessibility and other areas.

It makes me sad as well. But I've the feeling that most websites I've worked on are not as bad as most websites nowadays, still they aren't as good as they could be. And I always discuss with the customers.

That's probably one reason why I call myself a Backend developer. I am not responsible for the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Building, etc.

Released my extension "codehighlight" with support for the new site sets introduced in TYPO3 v13.1 while still providing support for TYPO3 v12:

Mit vier statt nur einem CPU-Kern schafft der neue Raspi Zero 2 jetzt auch Ton im Video und die Bildqualität ist deutlich besser. Man hört das fiepsen der Küken! :blobcataww: Aber Stream und gleichzeitig Motion Capture mit Ton schafft auch der Zweier nicht gleichzeitig. Das Aufnehmen muss ich wohl auslagern.

Gefilmt von oben in einem hölzernen Nistkasten für Vögel sieht man ein Nest in dem fünf Kohlmeisen-Küken ihre geöffneten Schnäbel nach oben strecken und fiepsen. Eine Meise kommt herein und stopft Würmer in die Schlunde der Küken. Eine zweite Meise schlüpft durch das Einflugloch. Ein sechstes Küken streckt sein Hinterteil in die Höhe von dem die zweite Meise Kot aufpickt und damit den Nistkasten verlässt. Kurz danach verlässt auch die erste Meise den Nistkasten wieder und das Video endet.

Wie kommt da Strom hin? Ist das autark per solarpanel oder so?

@mhuber84 Glaube nicht das ich das nachbasteln werde. Aber ne fekbe Orientierung wie aufwendig das ist und so wäre schon interessant.

Und irgendwie ist das ja schon toll.
Würde sich bei uns am Teich mit molchen und Fröschen anbieten.

@Skoop I guess there is none, as rector package is delivered as a shim only requiring a specific phpstan version: packagist.org/packages/rector/… So it already is like a phar shipped as composer package in some way.

Könnte man nicht eigentlich einen Protokoll Standard für Projektverwaltungssysteme erzeugen um verschiedene Projektmanagement Systeme miteinander zu verbinden? Dann kann man mit externen Personen besser kommunizieren.

@sven Ist wohl nicht ganz was du suchst, aber es gibt grundsätzlich schon was in die Richtung:

  • forgefed.org/ @forgefed arbeitet an einem Standard auf Basis von ActivityPub um Forges, und damit auch Issues/PM, zu syncen. Z.B. für open source interessant.
  • fossil-scm.org/ ist eine Alternative zu Git die PM und Co. mit an Bord hat. Damit ist das gesamte PM offline first und dezentral.
  • Und ich hatte letztens noch nen Projekt gesehen welches Issues auf Grundlage von Git verwaltet und somit auch einen Austausch ermöglicht … aber das finde ich gerade nicht mehr.

Für das nächste MarioKart-Turnier hat unser Konsolenmuseum eine Spende erhalten. Die Armbänder waren bereits in der Waschmaschine und zwei Netzteile sind unterwegs. Habt ihr noch alte Hardware?

Commuting to $newJob will be complicated. The place is close to the beach, so the public buses, at least in the hot season (so half of the year or so, and counting), will be full of tourists to the point that I'll likely miss more than one because full capacity overflow.

I still refuse to have a 🚗.

@tcurdt From my point of view both are solutions to different problems. But most people abuse the container ecosystem for other problems than intended.
I never encountered the problems that container try to solve. But problems that can easily be solved with nix.

Ich recherchiere gerade zu "KI-Funktionen" in Content Management Systemen. Kennt jemand solche, die bspw. das automatische Generieren von Alternativtexten ermöglichen, oder zumindest welche, die Bestrebungen in diese Richtung haben?

Diese Features sind hochgradig schädlich - ich würde gerne einen Überblick bekommen, wie verbreitet sie bereits sind. #Barrierefreiheit #a11y #Inklusion

Seit ein paar Wochen komme ich in den Genuss der @thephpcc : "Continuous Mentoring As A Service".
Den ersten vollständigen "Fortgeschrittene OOP" Kurs in 5 Teilen habe ich nun abgeschlossen. Die Qualität und Menge an vermitteltem Know-How in kurzer Zeit ist grandios. Dank der Interaktivität auch sehr ans eigene Wissen und Tempo angepasst.

Muss mal mein Blog entstauben für einen längeren Bericht.
