ofespii,

Oopsy I forgot to delete a piece of a sentence. Damn.

ofespii,

Haha I forgot the last sentence. It was unfinished! On my way to deleting it!!!

ofespii,

Thanks a lot for the information!

That’s what I also thought.

Once I stopped my ADHD meds, it felt like hell. I only lasted 5 days without my meds. Thanks a lot!

I’m most likely not gonna change my Dr. I’ve been with her for 6 years and I’m just one of the first ADHD patients she has lol. But she told me she’s gonna do training to update her knowledge!

Also she did give me my prescription when I told her I didn’t think it would work. She didn’t just cut me off.

I’ll inform her of your comment since she’s always willing to learn and listen to what I tell her.

ofespii,

I feel you 🤣 Once when my dosage was still being regulated, I seriously thought of dropping out of my higher education due to a comment from my director.

But yeah, I mainly forego meds on Sunday! Saturday is for chores, and Sunday is for being lazy and staring at the wall ✨

ofespii,

I can well and truly say that my psychiatrist and meds saved my life! I’ve never felt more happy or fulfilled than when I got my meds ^^

I wish everyone to find the right treatment for them ♥️

ofespii,

She mainly suggested it for the summer holidays since I’ve recently graduated from a very stressful and high intensity school program!

She still gave me my meds but I do think she wanted me to take a break so that my body would be able to… Deflate.

I’m 100% sure I would have kept myself busy and never taken the time to just exist otherwise.

It DID make me realise that I can survive without the meds, though I dislike it.

The first day, I felt like I was gonna ruin my life without it. But now I realise that it was anxiety due to using it and feeling so good with them.

It helped me realise that no, I won’t die without them. But I do need them.

They’re not crucial to my survival right now so I can reduce the fréquence of taking them.

I usually take a break on Sundays, and take only my anti-depressants ^^ But I guess she might have wanted me to try and gauge how much I needed them now that I’ve graduated.

ofespii,

No need to insult the person who has saved my life.

I’ve been with them for 6 years and I’ve turned my life around with their help so don’t call them a quack.

ofespii,

I cracked the code by getting microwaveable meals!

But also, I had 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese for dinner tonight so idk if it’s really working as well as I think 😅

ofespii,

I swear! I went from always missing my meds to never missing a day! I put my pill box on my phone and never looked back!

Same for laundry, putting it right next to the front door to not forget to bring them to the laundromat.

It’s foolproof!

ofespii,

Lmfao. Having recently graduated from a Game design school, let me tell you that making a game accessible isn’t nearly as complicated as you seem to think.

It’s mainly baout making games more customisable.

Difficulty level, the option to change input, different colour filters to cater to vision impairment, etc.

Adapting games to the most disabled/impaired also helps to accommodate the less disabled and everyday joe.

Having customisable input helps people who are left-handed enjoy games for example.

Having the option to have more contrast can help people who are playing in the sun by making the screen more comprehensible.

The part of game development that takes the longest is the game development in itself.

Designing the game, making sure everything makes sense, establishing the artistic direction, producing the assets, optimising everything, game testing, etc.

Excluding a whole part of the population for a minuscule part of the game development process is just ridiculous.

ofespii,

For real.

So many accessibility controls have already become used by everyone.

I always customise my inputs or even adjust the luminosity and contrast when it’s available.

These are also part of accessibility.

I don’t understand why people would want to do away with things that benefit everyone in the long run.

People forget that we don’t remain healthy and in perfect health forever.

ofespii,

27? Those are rookie numbers!

My ADHD comes with 160 free browser tabs.

ofespii,

She looks like the best bud anyone could hope for ♥️

ofespii,

May she have all the best treats in heaven ♥️
